I couldn't do it on my own. I'm weaker than I thought I was. Magic and potions don't solve everything, I've found out.

It isn't a good feeling, knowing that.

Any ideas on how we're going to pass time? Because as much as I love a study group, I don't think I'll want to do it the entire time.

I really see this fire as more of a blessing than a curse. Anthony was injured, so he won't be sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. And with him out of the picture, Sorin will be so focused on his beloved that he won't bother with me. And hopefully the fire will keep others from paying any attention to me.

I just have a cold. I will recover from it without Pomfrey's help. She's too busy dealing with the burn victims anyway; she doesn't need me on her plate either.

Don't expect to see much of me any time soon. I'll be where I can't smell smoke.

I do feel sorry for Pomfrey though. First the virus, and now this. I hope she's getting paid well.

Anthony will be fine. He's under Pomfrey's care, after all. I'm here if you need me.

I do hope that everyone knows how to wash their hands and covers their coughs and sneezes, because I absolutely refuse to become contaminated due to someone's stupidity. For those who don't know:

• Sneeze and cough into your elbow if you don't have a tissue handy.
  
• Wash your hands. Constantly.
  
• Get at least seven hours of sleep a night.
  
• Get your vitamins, kids.

Of course there's more, but I don't want to load too much on everyone. If someone so much as sneezes around me, though, I will hex him or her so fast their boogers won't even have time to spread their disgusting, vile germs.
